Subject: Mississippi's 10th Amendment Resolution

Dear Friend,

HCR 73 – A concurrent resolution affirming the Sovereignty of the people of the State of Mississippi is currently in the House rules committee.  This resolution has approximately 50 co-authors.  Follow this link to read the resolution http://billstatus.ls.state.ms.us/2010/pdf/history/HC/HC0073.xml

Please contact Chairman Joe Warren of the rules committee and ask him to bring it up for a vote and pass it out of committee so that the full house can vote on this measure.  Follow this link for his contact information http://billstatus.ls.state.ms.us/members/house/warren.xml

Many of you may remember that the resolution last year passed out of committee and then was heavily amended on the floor, passed then died on the calendar.  Please encourage your representative to vote ‘no’ on any amendments and vote yes on final passage.  This resolution is stronger and more direct then last years and contains nullification language.

With the direction our country is heading the people of Mississippi must stand up and have their voice heard and their vote counted or our freedoms will be stripped away.

Please share this with your friends and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Regards,
